Social commerce is on the rise, but when brands use social media platforms they have to rely on third-party data, putting them in the tricky position of having access to their customers, but no ownership of their data. Frost will discuss how with live streaming shopping, Social Chat enables brands to run live shopping events directly on their websites, and bring their audiences together in one place while collecting first-party data.

At Social Chat, Frost is bringing ML-driven social commerce to brands big and small, allowing them to interact with customers as if they are shopping in a store. Previously, she was GM & Head of Growth at Wish, where, as the company’s first growth hire, she built the team from scratch and helped Wish expand to be the #1 shopping app in 40+ countries with 100M+ monthly active users. She’s served on Y Combinator’s Growth Counsel and as an advisor to Quince, Spring, Lyft, Rappi, and Pinterest. Frost earned an MS in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Business Administration from National Taiwan University.
